At the Summer Festival I also had a chance to run an arts and crafts workshop for children. They painted fruits and veggies onto little wooden garden stakes that were hand whittled by someone on the farm. These stakes marked what the children were growing at home. It was lovely to engage with the community in this way and made me feel hopeful.
